This accession contains photographs, newspaper articles, greeting cards, personal correspondence, and other paper memorabilia related to Mildred Louise Howell Beck dating from the early 1900s to the 1990s. A significant portion of the collection is devoted to newspaper clippings recording the accomplishments and contributions of Mildred’s father, L. J. (Lemuel Jasper) Howell, within Alabama’s Future Farmers of America organization.
