Notable photographs and negatives include an image from 1938 of Auburn’s first traffic light at College and Magnolia, images from “Greater Auburn Day” which took place February 22, 1939 including images of Alabama Governor Frank M. Dixon, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s visit to Auburn in 1939, and Eleanor Roosevelt’s visit to Auburn later that year.

Roosevelt and Alabama Democrats about the campaign. Includes materials documenting the anti-Catholic campaign against Alfred Smith for president.
