Scope and Contents This small collection of personal papers covers a short portion of General Almquist's military career. Papers included are mainly official materials from the period 1955 through 1964. They consist of letters of appreciation, correspondence, and related items including a copy of the Senate's promotion nomination to Brigadier General, U.S. Army.
