This accession includes the xeroxed copy and the microfilmed copy of a diary and account book kept by Thomas Thompson Eckert who was the head of the military telegraph headquarters in the War Department in 1865. The diary has an entry on the Hampton Roads Peace Conference and on the death of President Lincoln.
