Scope and Contents
This accession contains drafts of scripts, newspaper clippings, and personal papers of noted Alabama playwright Richard Eugene Jackson. Series I contains Jackson's personal papers, including correspondence and royalty reports. The second series is made up of drafts of scripts and musical scores for Dr. Jackson's numerous plays. Serries III is a catch all for miscellaneous items such as newspaper clippings, play programs, and brochures of the Children's Musical Theatre, Inc.
