This accession contains research materials collected by Johnson for his doctoral dissertation on Isaac T. Tichenor, president of the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama (now Auburn University), 1882-1892, and Home Mission Secretary of the Southern Baptist Convention, 1883-1900.
