This accession includes legal documents and correspondence dating from the early twentieth century. There are deeds of conveyance, mortgages, tax returns, promissory notes, and insurance documents, as well as correspondence. The correspondence discusses: Mattie Moore's widow's pension; her friends and family; and love letters she received through the Mission Unity Corresponding Club, a matchmaking service.
