Scope and Contents

From the Accession:

This accession, divided into three series, consists primarily of notes, data, reports, correspondence, tables, charts, and drafts, among other items, related to Dr. E. Wayne Shell’s career. The first series includes Shell’s research materials, compiled primarily during the 1990s and 2000s, and organized alphabetically by subject. The second series is made up of excerpts from publications arranged chronologically, chapter drafts with marginalia ordered by chapter, and chapter drafts with tables and graphs also organized by chapter. A good portion of this series comes from Shell’s book Evolution of the Alabama Agroecosystem: Always Keeping Up, But Never Catching Up. Series three contains bound drafts of this book organized by work and chapter.
