Biographical / Historical

E. Fay Jones (1921-2004) was an award-winning American architect and appretice to Frank Lloyd Wright. He designed many chapels and residences. Jones designed the Yarbrough House which was constructed from 1989 to 1990 in Montrose, Alabama for Clarke and Mona Yarbrough. Clarke Yarbrough is an alumnus of the veterinary school at Auburn University. Among Jones' noteable architectural achievements is Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The chapel has won numerous awards including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) 25 Year Award in 2006.
