This Accession contains items flown on various NASA missions by Auburn Alumni serving as astronaunts. Three American, one Alabama, and a specially designed Auburn flag for the Apollo 16 voyage are featured in the Accession's collages, along with pictures of the mission and the astronaunts involved.

James S. Voss, Clifton C. Williams, Jr., Kathryn C. Thornton, Thomas K. Mattingly, II, Henry W. Hartsfield, Jr., and N. Jan Davis are Auburn Alumni who have served as astronauts in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space program.
