Scope and Contents

This accession consists correspondence, maps, research, and reports related to the projects of Archaeology Associates. The firm completed Cultural Resources Reconnaissance Reports for the federal government and other groups and individuals seeking archaeological assessments prior to construction. The collection includes research on the location of Mauvilla and Battery Gladden. Also included are Nicholas Holmes' collection of books and journals related to Alabama archaeology, and large maps and tables corresponding to certain projects.
