Scope and Contents

From the Accession:

The accession consists of 30 letters written by Alexander Joseph Bondurant from Australia while he was an advisor to the Australian Agriculture Department on growing tobacco. His travels and work in the northeastern and western parts of Victoria are described in the letters. Includes newspaper clippings; other miscellaneous letters of Bondurant, C. C. Thach, W. L. Broun and his grandson Tinsley Harrison; a short autobiography, and miscellaneous correspondence relating to Bondurant from 1891 to 1908 and 1964.
