Scope and Contents
The collection consists of 30 letters written by Alexander Joseph Bondurant from Australia while he was a advisor to the Australian Agriculture Department on growing tobacco. His travels and work in the northeastern and western parts of Victoria are described in the letters. Includes newspaper clippings; other miscellaneous letters of Bondurant, C. C. Thach, W. L. Broun and his grandson Tinsley Harrison; a short autobiography and miscellaneous correspondence relating to Bondurant from 1891 to 1908 and 1964.
