Scope and Contents
Correspondence of World War I American Flying Ace and President of eastern Air Lines Eddie Rickenbacker and his wife Adelaide Frost Rickenbacker with their son, William Frost Rickenbacker. Topics cover from the mundane running of the family ranch to William's schoolwork, to politics, to important events of the day. There is also William's handwritten diary of his Harvard yeards, March 1945 through November 1947. Included are collection ephemera such as wrapping apper that attest to the authenticity of the collection and an inventory and videotape of further items of interest viz. Eddie Rickenbacker for sale by a private vendor.
