Scope and Contents
Accession consists of approximately 1000 pages in 1 record center box and 1 half-width archival document box. It contains correspondence, official releases and directives, reports, bulletins, newspaper clippings, concerning military training at A.P.I. Most of the material deals with World War II and its effect upon A.P.I. through National Defense programs and activities -- Army and Navy Training, engineering and vocational defense training, National Youth Administration, Monpower Commission, and Selective Service System. See Register.
Incorporated into this collection is the World War I Materials of Auburn Alumnus. It includes correspondence, applications, testimonials, and personal [personnel?] index cards. These materials were previously referred to as 'Accession 266.'
