This accession consists of papers (published, unpublished, and used for teaching), an unfinished manuscript, a list of candidates for a Who-Was-Who in American Aeronautics, correspondence, notes, and photographs. Most of these items were created by Richard K. Smith in his work on the history of aviation, but a few of the articles were written by others and collected by Smith. Some of the papers included in the accession were later published as books,... chapters, or articles.
