This accession contains correspondence, financial reports, notes, annual events, publications and meeting minutes for the southeastern forester and includes historical narratives from notable early members. It also includes the certificate of incorporation for the Society of American Foresters (SAF) from 1928 and proceedings from early forest conferences from 1916 and 1920 respectfully. Of particicular interest would be chapter outlines and drafts of Earl Porter's History of the SESAF and How Forestry Came to the Southeast, co-written with William (Bill) Consoletti.
