Scope and Contents
The family letters, mostly written from Maryland, consist of letters written by George Dent, Stouten Hubert Dent's younger brother away at school; Frederick L. Dent; Mollie Dent, sister; Helen; and Mother. The letters primarily contain family news; school news; deaths in the family and in the neighborhood; farming news, particularly that involved with tobacco planting. THe letter of April 28, 1961 signed "Mother" is written from Eufaula.
