Army jacket circa WWI,This accession contains an 1914-1918 that was stored in the Treasure Room. The information provided said the jacket belonged to a Rev. William Bruneeer (1843-1892) but he was deceased prior to WWI. A Rev. William Bruner served as an Alabama Pvt. Company D, 6th Regiment and Florida Volunteers in the Confederate States Army. He is buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Houston County, Alabama. It is understood the army coat belonged to another relaltive of Fran Macarthur (no information or date on acquisition.
