Scope and Contents
This accession includes C. Harry Knowles’s biography by Mary Ellen Hendrix, old family photographs, notes on his childhood and time at Auburn and Vanderbilt Universities, notes on his career with Bell Labs, Motorola, Westinghouse, and the company he founded Metrologic Instruments Inc. Also includes his favorite legacy with a foundation he created that contributes to education for teachers and students in the field of Science and Math called Knowles Science Teaching Foundation (KSTF).
