Historic telegram from President John Fitegerald Kennedy to Auburn University President Dr. Ralph B. Draughon on June 14, 1963, to invite him to the White House to discuss "The nation's Civil rights problem". This telegram was sent after the showdown at the University of Alabama on June 11, 1963 by Governor George Wallace.
