Biographical / Historical
Robert Emmett Corry was a Georgia native working for Alabama railroads as a civil engineer, enlisted in the 11th Alabama Cavalry in September, 1862. He served as a quatermaster sergeant in the regiment, assigned to Nathan Bedford Forrest's command, until the end of the war.
