Auburn Local History Project
Scope and Contents
Educational program created by former AU Assistant Archivist Bill Sumners in 1987. Sumner has written, "This program is designed to stimulate interest in local history through the use of primary source materials such as documents and photographs." Sumners has divided Auburn's history into five distinct periods and has included photocopies of original documents from people of the eras as well as copies of photographs persuant to historical buildings and events. There are two supplementary folders of introduction and bibliographical materials.
