This collection contains slides which encompass a large array of architechtural styles from primative to 20th century. They were created by Bannister as teaching aids.

Biographical / Historical
Bannister held degrees from Denison, Harvard and Columbia. His first job after recieving his Ph.D. was at A.P.I. as dean of architechture, a position which he held from 1944 to 1948. He would go on to teach at the University of Illinois and to teach and serve as the dean of the University of Florida's architecture school.
