Biographical / Historical
Clyde Bolton was born in 1937, in Anderson, South Carolina. After moving several times, he graduated from Alexandria High School in Calhoun County. He has been a sports writer for the Birmingham News since 1961. Bolton is the author of fourteen books, including four novels. He lives with his wife Sandra in Trussville, Alabama.
