Biographical / Historical

The Alabama College Personnel Association (ALCPA) was established in 1969. Its stated purpose is "to advance the scientific discipline of college and university personnel work in the State of Alabama; to conduct and foster programs of education in the field of personnel and guidance; and to promote sound college and university personnel practices." The ALCPA is affiliated with the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and the American and Alabama Personnel and Guidance Associations (APGA and ALPGA).
