Marcia Rickenbacker Collection
Content Description
This collection contains an oral history interview with Captain Eddie Rickenbacker's daughter Marcie. The interview, on two audiotapes and transcribed, was conducted by Dr. David Lewis on October 8, 1998. The interview recounts the last days of Eddie and Adelaide Rickenbacker, and general family history.
The collection also includes 9 photocopies of pictures of the rescue of Rickenbacker in 1942, one film print, and a copy of the film Captain Eddie. There is also a folder of photographs of furniture from the Rickenbacker house.

Biographical / Historical
Marcia Rickenbacker is the daughter of David Edward Rickenbacker, and the granddaughter of Captain Eddie Rickenbacker and Adelaide Frost Rickenbacker. In 1942, Captain Rickenbacker was rescued after being lost at sea for three weeks.
