Biographical / Historical

Edith Longstreth was born on March 17, 1857, in Dayton, Ohio. Edith was the first female graduate of Antioch College, and after graduation, was employed as a teacher. She married Israel Donald Boyer, and they had one son, Frederic Boyer. Edith was actively involved with the Delegates to the World Peace Conference of all Friends and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom.
