Biographical / Historical
The Auburn University School of Nursing (AUSON) was established in 1979 with twenty-seven students and five full-time faculty members. The first class to graduate from AUSON was in 1981, there were twenty-four students.
Today, the Auburn School of Nursing and the Auburn University Montgomery School of Nursing both offer a Masters of Science in Nursing. They were approved by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education in Spring of 2010.
