Nimrod Denson Sr., was judge of the Alabama 5th Circuit Court and an associate justice of the Alabama Supreme Court from 1904 to 1909. He married Carrie Eugenia Vernon in 1883. John Vernon Denson and Nim Denson both attended Alabama Polytechnic Institute, later Auburn University, and the University of Alabama law school. Nim Denson married Annie Elizabeth Rush in 1920.
