The RBD Library was expanded in 1991 with a 207,000 square foot addition, effectively doubling the building's size. In 2017 the Mell Classroom Building addition was added to the front of the building, bringing together active student learning classrooms with library spaces to support it. Auburn University Libraries' includes the main library located at the corner of Roosevelt Drive and S College Street, the Charles Cary Veterinary Medical Library located in Greene Hall, and the Library of Architecture, Design, and Construction located in Dudley Commons.
