Biographical / Historical

Lee Davidson served as editor of the Auburn Plainsman during the 1998-1999 academic year. During her term as editor, the student newspaper published a number of stories and editorials critical of Auburn University trustee Robert E. Lowder. Eventually, the Student Publications Board voted 5 to 4 to censure Davidson, but she retained substantial support within the Auburn faculty and the media.
