Paul Denckla Scrapbook
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a scrapbook assembled by Denckla, including photographs and autographs of officers, reconnaissance photographs from Ninth Bombardment Division bombing missions, damage at bomb sites, and photographs and postcards from various places in Arizona and Europe where Denkla was stationed.

Biographical / Historical
Major Paul Denckla, a Philadelphia investment banker, was commissioned in the U.S. Army Air Forces in April 1942. He was commanding officer of the 330th School Squadron at Luke Field, Arizona and later was attached to the Ninety-seventh Combat Bombardment Wing, Ninth Bombardment Division, Ninth Air Force, in England and France.
