Biographical / Historical

Richard G, Millman spent 11 years as a practicing architect before his career as a college professor. His first job in academia was a professorship at Ohio University. In the mid-1960s he became a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. From 1968 until his retirement, Millman worked in the Auburn University Architecture department, where he was a professor and later head of the department. After retiring, he spent time traveling and became an award-winning artist.
