Biographical / Historical
Oscar Hartwell Lawrence Jr was born in Plantersville, Alabama, in 1920. He worked as a carpenter with the Civilian Conservation Corps at Chewacla State Park. He also served in the military during World War II. He died in 1984 at age 64.
