Biographical / Historical

Dr. John Thomas Vaughan, a native of Tuskegee, AL, received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1955 and an MS from Auburn University in 1963. From 1970 to 1974, he taught at New York State College of Veterinary Medicine (Cornell University). In 1977 Vaughan returned to Auburn University where he served as Dean of Veterinary Medicine until his retirement on September 1, 1995.
