These archaeological investigations and progress reports involve an archaeological salvage project conducted at the French Fort Conde in Mobile, Alabama, through an agreement between the Alabama Highway Department and the University of Alabama's Department of Anthropology. Progress reports on Phases II and III were conducted between 1967 and 1972 with Donald A. Harris serving as the field supervisor, as well as Jerome Nielson.
