Little is known of Alexander Frazer. In John Peavy Wright's book "Glimpses into the Past From My Grandfather's Trunk", there is mention of an Alexander Frazer [sic] living five miles out of Auburn on the Auburn-Tuskegee highway in 1856. During this time period there was a mill called Frazer and Co. Mill.

Wright also mentions that on October 13, 1833 a will was written by John Frazer (his wife's name was Milly) who lived in Lincoln County, Georgia. This will was filed for probate on November 4, 1833 and it mentions his only son, Alexander Frazer.

Frazer was born in Lincoln County, Georgia on September 22, 1815, and died at Auburn, Alabama on November 10, 1885. His wife Katherine was born in Lincoln County, Georgia on October 20, 1814 and died in Auburn on December 24, 1889. A daughter Sarah Tertia Frazer was born August 8, 1841 and died on March 3, 1931. All are buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Auburn, Alabama.
