R.L. Green Papers

 Collection
Identifier: 0412

Scope and Contents

Collection contains two "Soldier's Diaries" published by the YMCA and written by R.L. Green. Green's Diaries detail his activities, with little blurbs about the significant events of the day. The diaries also contain "Survival guides" for soldiers; sections on how to read French, how to find base camp in the dark, and how to identify officers by badges appear in the front section of the little books. Green's diaries reflect the day-to-day operations of war in brief notes.
