Scope and Contents

This collection consists of four American Indian artifacts recovered from Horseshoe Bend, site of the final battle of the Creek War which took place on March 27, 1814. These items are probably from the Mississippian Age or the Archaic Age and probably range from 500 to 5,000 years old.

Roberta Greene, member of the Admiral Semmes Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy in Auburn, AL, acquired these items from her father.
