Scope and Contents

This collection contains materials pertaining to education and the economic status of teachers in Alabama. This includes: a report of the Committee on Alabama Course of Study, Southern State Work Conference on School Administrative problems (three committee reports), "Status of County Teachers in Alabama, 1935-1936" by the Committee on Economic Status of White Rural Teachers in Alabama, 1939, API, and material from Dr. Irvine's classes as an education professor in the API School of Education (i.e. tests).
