Biographical / Historical

Jenkins hailed from Silver Run, Al. (a town in Talladega Co.), and was enrolled at API from 1899 to 1900. While not a regular student (Jenkins fell under the category "special"), he took courses at API in Veterinary Science, Agriculture and Mechanical Arts.
