Biographical / Historical

Clinton Kaminis was a 1943 Veterinary major from Alabama Polytechnic University (Auburn University) and a native of Tarpon Springs, FL. Kaminis served as a captain in the 1st Platoon of the 13th Mountain Medical Battalion Veterinary Company during World War II. His duties were to tend to horses and mules which were used to transport equipment to Chinese forces and to help construct a road in northeast India and the Burma Road.
