Boswell Family Letters
Scope and Contents
This collection includes letters to Elizabeth Boswell Horne and Susan Boswell from relatives and friends in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, and Texas. Included are Civil War-era descriptions of dyeing cloth and weaving dimity and letters from a nephew, W. Emory Horne, attending East Alabama Male College, now Auburn University, who later emigrated to Texas.
