Biography
Elizabeth Bullock Andrews (Feb. 12, 1911 - Dec. 2, 2002) was born Leslie Elizabeth Bullock in Geneva, Alabama. She graduated from Montevallo College with a B.S. in 1932 and worked as a teacher. In 1936 she married George William Andrews, who served as a Representative from 1944 until his death in 1971. Following his death, she was elected as a Democrat by special election to the Ninety-second Congress to fill the vacancy for the rest of the unexpired term (April 4, 1972-January 3, 1973).
