Wade Hall is a native of Union Springs, Alabama. He taught English and served as an administrator at Bellarmine College in Louisville, where he also hosted a weekly interview program on Louisville public television.

The Wade Hall 20th Century Pulp Fiction Collection was selected by Auburn University with a goal of gathering a broad representation of the art of pulp fiction covers as well as the authors who published in the medium. The collection encompasses publications from the mid-to-late 20th Century.
