Scope and Contents

This accession includes photocopies of journals which detail Dr. Floyd's childhood in Alabama, as well as his induction into the US Marine Corps. His writings also detail his college days in Auburn and ROTC experience, his commission into the Army Reserves, his medical training at Tulane University, his medical internship, and his accounts of eye surgery in his later life.
