Scope and Contents
This accession contains two journals which are wholly devoted to describing the veterinary treatments and operations Jenkins performed during this period. The books list notes for each case identifying the animal, its owner, a synopsis of the problem and/or ailment, and a description of the treatment used for each animal. Notes on the treatments include medicines prescribed, procedures, and dietary needs. The last 36 pages of Journal 1 and the last 7 pages of Journal 2 1 contain detailed listings for remedies and medicines for specific ailments.
