This accession consists primarily of materials associated with H. B. Bozeman's efforts to obtain a historical marker for General Thomas S. Woodward in Winn Parish, Louisiana. For many years, Mr. Bozeman wrote a column "Winn Parrish As I Have Known It" in the newspaper Winn Parish Enterprise and Winnfield News-American about his efforts. Some of these columns are included, as well as copies of correspondence with Department of the Army; Speedy 0. Long, U.S. Congressman from Louisiana; Thomas Belser, Archivist at Auburn University; and others. Also included are a few items of miscellaneous nature.
