Scope and Contents
This accession includes three cassette tapes of an interview of Coach "Shug" Jordan conducted by John Logue, running time approximately three and a half hours. Of note: Tape 3, Side 6 is blank. The Accession also contains a copy of the interview on five compact discs. Topics discussed during the interview include the naming of the Jordan-Hare Stadium, Jordan's service in World War II, his time with the Miami Seahawks, his childhood at parochial school in Selma, football player image (mustaches), and other matters.
